The transformation and renovation of this late 1930s apartment in Basel aims at preserving the original character of the place through specific and only punctual interventions. The new insertions allude to and draw from the existing architectural period in Basel and are inspired by New Objectivity. However, the use of alternative materials and color allow for a differentiation between the existing and the new.
